We guarantee: the best possible value for your product
About us
Piglets, pigs and sows are daily collected at the assembly centre in Lieshout. After arrival we sort the animals and transport them to destinations in and out of the Netherlands.
Employees of the assembly centre take care of the administration and export documents for Dutch and foreign customers. They also make invoices for the animals which are collected at the assembly centre. Therefore, any farmer or trader can quickly receive the documents and invoice of their animals, according to made agreements.
The planning for Lieshout and Helmond are both made in Lieshout, which results in short lines between the departments. Due to our years of experience, knowledge and personal contact we make sure you get the best value for your product.
Control post
The assembly centre in Lieshout is an official resting stable for pigs and bovine animals. Animals can rest, drink and eat for 24 hours during a long journey. We are accessible for every transporter. Please contact us if you are interested.
Fair and sustainable meat production
THE GROUP
Van Rooi wants to produce affordable and honest meat, mainly from the own region. This gives a clear image of the origin of the meat and also a stimulation to use sustainable products. In the spirit of ‘from Farmer to Fork’ aims Van Rooi to take care of the environment, make less transport movements and promote the consumption of fresh and healthy food.
Leading Role
Within this ambition, ‘Chain control’ is a crucial condition. This means managing the chain by connecting the buyers and suppliers, including the regional farmers. This is how the supply and demand is linked together. The leading role is carried out by Van Rooi without overlooking human, animal or environmental welfare. In addition, we seek a fair reward for all, including our pig farmers.
Care for animals and environment
At Van Rooi, Livestock trading company, we continuously look for ways to work efficiently, while we try to take the rules into account as much as possible, in order to not let the animals and environment suffer unnecessary.
